I’m an impractical daydreamer, writer, editor, photographer, world nomad and hopeful romantic seeking truth and perpetual adventure.
Originally from Philadelphia, I went to college Kentucky, studied at The Washington Journalism Center in Washington, D.C., worked on Capitol Hill as a reporter, started a national alternative news website, and launched a popular print and online magazine in my home city of Philly. In 2019, I co-founded a mission-based nonprofit that helps other nonprofits tell better stories. Presently I serve as Director of Communications for a network of faith-based schools, and live in Baltimore, MD.
I’ve been blessed to have my writing featured in The Philadelphia Evening Post, The Ocean City Sun, Atlantic City Weekly, Philly Weekly, The Daily Caller, The Press of Atlantic City, The Philadelphia Inquirer, iloveOCNJ.com, The Seven Mile Times, The Sea Isle Times, The Wildwood Sun, Friends Journal, The Washington Times, Red Alert Politics, Yahoo News, Infinity News Network, The Asbury Insider, Buzzfeed, The Daily What, The Relay, The GNJ Digest, UMCOM, UM News, United Methodist Communities Blog, The Interpreter Magazine, EDC Blog, Xaverian Brothers Generalate Blog, Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools (XBSS) Blog, Xaverian Brothers E-Newsletter, XBSS E-Newsletter, The Concordia Magazine, and Thought Catalog.
My travel adventures have taken me to nearly every U.S. state, several countries in Europe, and many trips to Africa. Kenya, in particular, has stolen my heart.
I describe myself as a ‘New York Times best-selling thinker.’ Friends describe me as a cross between Jerry Seinfeld and Ted Mosby with the mind of Stephen King and Tim Burton sprinkled with a tidbit of Nicholas Sparks and the fantasies of Dennis Reynolds. I’m perpetually working on several unfinished novels that have J.K. Rowling-esque potential.
